Home / Building With SIPs / Production & Delivery
Please remember that it takes time to get panels and building with panels requires planning and looking ahead. Here is ACME’s process to help to do so.
Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) are a high-performance building system consisting of an insulating foam core sandwiched between two structural facings, typically oriented strand board (OSB). This innovative, engineered, precise solution will bring your high-performance designs to life.
We’ve outlined our steps and timeframes in detail below.
Call us for an initial consultation. We know what works best for SIPs
and can provide feedback and guidance for early planning. When
you have building plans to match we can work up an estimate.
Submit your information to ACME for a quote in the link below.
Once you have decided the quote meets your budget and the project
is greenlighted, we send a contract for your signature and deposit.
When we have received both we will start drawings or manufacturing
depending on your timeline.
After a contract and deposit is received, ACME staff will take your
plans and create a panel layout including connection details and
a fastening schedule. If needed, ACME can submit plans to a
structural engineer for an engineering stamp specific to your location.
When ACME receives the final approved drawings and a production
deposit ACME can begin manufacturing. While specific project timing
depends on orders already in-house, in general blanks can be shipped
in 2-3 weeks.
As ACME finishes production, an ACME representative will reach out
to coordinate delivery. Please review our pre-delivery checklist and
requirements ahead of time to ensure a no-hassle delivery.
